Clean, delicious food, cozy ambiance and overall expensive food is what you can expect at major Indian Restaurants in Jakarta. Usually the price will be from 250k IDR to 300k IDR for 2 people if choose A la carte and could be anything from 375k IDR to 550k IDR for buffet. Here I have listed the top 5 Indian restaurants of the city, where I had a good experience and great food.

Royal Kitchen

Royal Kitchen Indian restaurant of Jakarta ranks at the top, for their ambiance and good spread. Located in a mall where there are mainly restaurants and offices nearby, this restaurant will definitely not disappoint you. They have A-la carte as well as buffet system. Buffet includes some items from Chat, 2-3 types of dessert, starters, main course and rice with Dal. Staff also seem friendly and prompt. Though prices are a bit on higher end, highly recommend this restaurant.

Located on the ground floor in a Office Building, Ganesha Ek Sanskriti has many outlets from Bali to Jakarta. They serve both North and South Indian food. Buffet and A-la carte both are available. Though buffet has limited variety of options, still a good place to visit.

Opening Hours: Mon to Friday 10 am to 9 pm, Saturday 11 am to 9 pm, Sunday Closed

Queen's Tandoor

This is the only Indian restaurant located in Menteng Area near Grand Indonesia Mall and Pacific Plaza. Though easy to find, it is located at the basement of an Office Tower. Serves both North and South Indian food. I didnt find buffet available here when I visited and only A-la carte was there. So not sure if buffet is served or not. Being in Menteng area prices are bit high but food is good. so recommend visiting this Indian restaurant in Jakarta.

Ganesh Ek Sanskriti- BRI

The restaurant is located on the 9th Floor of BRI 2 building. Location is a  bit confusing though the security guard will guide you but ambiance seems really nice. This is yet another branch of the Ganesh Ek Sanskriti restaurant where buffet is available. Saturdays they have a South Indian Buffet and Sunday’s a North Indian buffet. Both days they have a chat counter. You can even opt for A la carte if you dont wish to have buffet lunch. This restaurant has a great variety of options for buffet, and can get crowded due to high demand.

This is a restaurant with a nice ambiance located in south of Jakarta. They serve North Indian food,  Vegetarian and Non Veg both. A modern restaurant with open bar and great decor. Staff are also friendly and attentive. Food is flavorful and portions are good. A nice place to have good food.
