This neighbourhood is great for young travellers looking for vibrant nightlife with many bars, clubs, and restaurants. It also has great shopping centres and is close to Harajuku, which is known for its vibrant street fashion and cosplay culture. It is popular for the Shibuya crossing, the world’s busiest and largest pedestrian crossing with thousands of people crossing at a time, an absolute visual to watch. The popular photographs of Tokyo with numerous Neon signs are from Shibuya’s Centre Gai, an extremely popular area near the Shibuya crossing and Hachiko Statue. Here you can find countless shops with international and local brands.
