You can carry your own scarf or the Gurudwara provides head covering for those who don’t have it.  2. Consuming or even carrying tobacco, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes or meat is prohibited and you will be checked and stopped if you find carrying them.  3. Remove your shoes and socks before entering. You can keep it at free lockers where people collect your shoes and give you a token number. You can return your token number and collect your shoes back.  4.While entering the premises, there is a shallow pool of water through which you will enter and your feet will be clean.  5. Please be aware of all your belongings and try and avoid to carry wallets in your pockets of your pants. Due to heavy rush you could be a prey of pick pocketers.  6. Don’t forget to have Karah Prasad , a vegetarian sweet as a blessing by the Guru.  7. You will find many trees preserved around the man made pool of the Temple and people worshiping them.  The DukhBhanjani Tree known as Ber tree is famous for eradicating your sufferings and sorrows.The tree is preserved by giving support and is 400 yrs old. There is a story behind it.It is said a leper husband of Bibi Rajani was cured by taking a dip in the pond near the tree. Guru Ram Das Ji decided to develop the reservoir into a proper bathing tank 8.  Anyone can have holy dip in the pool without using shampoo or soaps. There are roughly 170 malls in Jakarta. They cater to every taste from luxury to affordable local markets. I enjoyed my shopping experience while in Jakarta. Recommending few of the best options. Hope you have a gala time shopping 🙂 Here are my best places to shop in Jakarta Central Park + Neo Soho Central Park Mall is my favorite one in Jakarta. An absolute shopping paradise it is close to Mall Taman Angrekk. It is a delight for all shoppers with famous brands like Levis, Max, Sogo Department Store, H&M, Stradivarius, Zara,Tommy Hilfiger etc. Famous makeup and skincare brands like Sephora, MAC, and Nature Republic are also there . You can easily spend an entire day here with a lot of F&B options. One can find everything from footwear, clothes, accessories, lingerie, bags, loungewear, electronics, beauty products, etc. There is also a Tribeca Park around the Central Park mall with a nice atmosphere to spend some quality time. There are a number of restaurants surrounding this park.Location: Letjen S. Neo Soho comprises of ACE Hardware Store and Informa Department Store. Its a beautiful area to spend some peaceful time on the sky bridge. Not to forget, this complex also has the Jakarta Aquarium and Safari. Here you can enjoy animal encounters, feed the Meerkats and enjoy a aqua-trekking adventure. Not to miss the Penguin show which is held twice daily.   Grand Indonesia Grand Indonesia is one of the largest and most popular malls of Jakarta. Its is divided in the East and West Mall. These parts are connected externally by a walking pedestrian area and internally by a sky walk. It is located in the heart of Menteng area and surrounded by many luxury hotels. It boasts of various high street brands like Bershka, Cotton On, Mango, Uniqlo, Pull and Bear, H&M, Victoria’s Secret, Giordano, Zara, etc. There are 3 famous department stores under one roof namely Seibu, Central and Allun Allun. Allun Allun is famous for local handicrafts, souvenirs and wooden articles. It is connected to the office tower of Menara BCA, Kempsinki Private Residences and Hotel. Endless food courts, restaurants, shops, gaming arcades, cinema, entertainment, supermarkets and departments stores under one roof. This shopping hub will never fail to impress you. Name the brand and you will find it here. I highly recommend to have a stroll at this market and don’t forget to buy some nice night pyjamas here. Also, have a nice experience with the kind and helpful local people.
